Januar 2013 {Winter Wonders}

We're a bit slow getting things kicked off here, but I'm happy to be finally introducing you to our January Challenge- Winter Wonders!

Create any paper crafting project that celebrates the wonders of winter... because if you live anywhere even slightly similar to us in Williams Lake, BC, you'll be dealing with winter for a while, so we may as well find the beauty in it :)

Here's some pretty projects from our Seriously Creative Design Team members:

Janet made this adorable card- how cute would this be for a January anniversary?
She made more wintery cards as well, visit her blog to see them!
 Sarai used some old photos of her adorable daughter and put together this soft, beautiful layout!
 I (Tara) made this card with our January SOTM (Stamp Of The Month)!
I'll be back with more projects to share soon!  You've got until the end of the month to play along with us...

We can't wait to see what you'll create!

Wonderful Wood!

This month's challenge is so much fun- I've made a few projects lately that are a perfect fit for it, but today I have a couple others to share with you!

First up is a simple & elegant card Mom (Julie) made.  She's used dies by Tim Holtz together with a fun woodgrain patterned paper.

Sarai had her husband involved in this gorgeous layout- he planed some real wood super thin for her to use on the background of this page!  She then added wooden buttons & embellishments, plus some flowers that she made from pencil shavings!!! genius!
I've been loving all the wooden embellishments from Crate Paper lately, and will have some projects to share with you featuring them soon as well!  Here's a peek at the tag I made this weekend (you can see the full tag on our other blog)
Hope you'll play along!  Link up your projects featuring wood, woodgrain or trees HERE.

Here's some projects to get your creative juices started flowing!

Janet made three projects!   She's used lots of trees, woodgrain stamps & a wooden banner embellishment.

 Leslie made this layout, which features some printed wooden buttons:
